A video of EU Vice President Frans Timmermans insisting that the whole world will have to become diverse is being used by many to warn of the dangers of such extreme globalist ideology being pushed.
The video was filmed in 2015 at the EU Fundamental Rights Colloquium 2015 where EU Commission Vice Presisent Frans Timmermans spoke on migration, culture and diversity.
The Timmermans speech from the video is as follows:
“Diversity is now in some parts of Europe seen as a threat. Diversity comes with challenges. But diversity is humanity’s destiny. There is not going to be, even in the remotest places of this planet, a nation that will not see diversity in its future. That’s where humanity is heading. And those politicians trying to sell to their electorates a society that is exclusively composed of people from one culture, are trying to portray a future based on a past that never existed, therefore that future will never be.”
“Europe will be diverse, like all other parts of the world will be diverse. The only question is, how do we deal with that diversity? And my answer to that is, by ensuring that our values determine how we deal with diversity and not giving up our values to refuse diversity. That will bring us down as a society.”
“If we don’t get this right, I truly believe Europe will not remain the Europe we built. Europe will not remain a place of peace and freedom, for very long.”
Ironically, judging from this evidence, it seems that it is global homogeneity and not diversity that is the ultimate long term goal of the globalists, starting with Europe. This is the contradiction in their constant talk of the need for diversity – they seem to be in fact against diversity because genuine diversity of peoples and nations in the world are an obstacle to their globalist plans for homogeneity and conformity.
Guy Verhofstadt, recently gave a speech at the Liberal Democrats conference in Bournemouth, England, which also launched into an incredible rant openly calling for a new world order made out of super empires.
Verhofstadt, European Parliament’s representative in the Brexit negotiations, left little to the imagination as he railed against the nation state and for a world order based on empires:
“The world of tomorrow is not a world order based on nation states or countries. It is a world order that is based on empires. China, is not a nation, it’s a civilisation. India… is not a nation… The US is also an empire, more than a nation… And then finally the Russian federation.
The world of tomorrow is a world of empires in which we Europeans, and you British, can only defend your interests, your way of life, by doing it together, in a European framework and in the European Union.”
As many are pointing out, The United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples prohibits discrimination against indigenous peoples, and it “promotes their full and effective participation in all matters that concern them and their right to remain distinct and to pursue their own visions of economic and social development”.
Further international protection of the self determination of nations are protected under UN Charter and The Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide was also adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in 1948 as General Assembly Resolution 260.
Article 2 of the Convention defines genocide as
… any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such:
- (a) Killing members of the group;
- (b) Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group;
- (c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part;
- (d) Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group;
- (e) Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group.— Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, Article 2
Article 3 defines the crimes that can be punished under the convention:
- (a) Genocide;
- (b) Conspiracy to commit genocide;
- (c) Direct and public incitement to commit genocide;
- (d) Attempt to commit genocide;
- (e) Complicity in genocide.
As noted by a commentator, if these crazed globalists want global homogeneity they will have to destroy nationalism / patriotism first….nations second – then their global totalitarian regime will have succeeded. The nations and the peoples of the world may have something to say about that.More of Frans Timmermans speech can be found here
